What to Expect
No materials needed! We’ll provide a Chromebook to each student for use during class.
iPad simulator
We use a free platform called BitsBox for our lessons. Your child’s apps will be visual and interactive in a familiar iPad-like environment.
Show-and-tell
Students will take home QR codes so you can play their apps on your phone
FAQ
Who can join coding club?
Third-grade is the suggested minimum age as students need to feel somewhat comfortable typing on a laptop keyboard, including non-letter keys like parenthesis.
My student wants to continue coding at home
Amazing! Supply us with a guardian’s email address before your session starts and we’ll give your child a take-home account.
How do I sign up?
Currently, Coding Club is only offered in pre-arranged locations in Indianapolis. Contact us to let us know your interest!
